The theatre team has had a pretty good year this year. UIL Theater specifically was a pretty big success for the team. 

Their play “Defying Gravity” was a big success. They also did plays called “Lord of Flies” and “Snow Angel” A new big step is ahead of the team with UIL OAP (one act play). The auditions to be a part of their UIL adventure began back on December 11th. For actors they needed to prepare 2 monologues, one classical from the 1960’s and one modern from 2000 to current day. The actors had a 3 minute time frame to perform the monologues.   

     For the crew they had to fill out a google form and sign up for an audition slot. They were interviewed as well. Deep Blue Sound by Abe Koogler and Kindertransport by Diane Samuels were the two possible play choices going into the auditions. UIL Theatre is actually suppose to beegin
