The girls did good this season and most of all grew along the way. The freshman team had a record of 4-15. They always played their best and no matter if it was a win or a loss, the energy was always up and everyone cheered each other on.
A cool part of the freshman’s development was that they each had a senior volleyball player to help push them, help them develop as players, and especially develop as people.
Freshman Lexi Wood said “It was very fun and I really enjoyed my teammates and coach.” And the best part of their season was that they always had a good crowd and support system.
The sophomore team also had a good season. They ended the season with a record of 3-18. They had lots of morning practices throughout the season and also some afternoon practices.
These practices were a key part of their development and helped them grow closer as friends and grow as teammates. This assured that they always had a good support system no matter what the outcome of the game was.
They also always had a good crowded gym as well as a good and supportive community.
Though both teams faced struggles, they always ended up persevering through it all and became better players through it.
