Lubbock High’s student population is diverse, with different characters and mingled passions. Students are often involved in many extracurricular activities, harboring their hobbies to the next level through the school’s many offered opportunities with classes and courses. This week, we’ll be exploring more on one of the many incredible students at Lubbock High- Cassie Hooper.
Cassie, a current junior at LHS, is a passionate and caring student, committed to giving back to the community. During her free time and after school, Cassie is a part of the Ink and Fold Project, an organization that donates crafts and origami to hospitals and facilities all around the globe. Her origami specialty includes elephants and cranes, and her crafts bring joy and happiness to all the recipients.
Not only is she dedicated to school activities, but Cassie is also a prominent member of one of Lubbock’s biggest hospitals- Covenant. As a member of the pediatrics department, Cassie is committed to volunteering and helping out at the hospital. With her love of children and the medical field combined, Cassie loves spending her time at the hospital.
As a passionate student with good grades and an outstanding character, Cassie is among the many incredible students attending Lubbock High.
