We’re looking forward to a great season in football, but let’s recap on our previous season last year.

The Freshman Team started the season strong with a shutout win against Hereford and Big Spring. And this team dominated until their devastating loss at our own field Chapman. From there, the team lost each game, until their victory at Coronado.

“I think everyone did pretty good this year,” Bo Davis, a freshman on the team says, “We worked pretty well as a team.”

The Junior Varsity Team had a rough season with 9 losses, and only 1 win. JV had a good start to their first game, but soon Hereford dominated. Thankfully, our Westerners scored big in the next game, and snatched up a victory. From there, everything went downhill, as the team saw defeat after defeat. Even though they encountered defeat, the Junior Varsity Team kept on pushing.
