The Lubbock High swim and dive teams competed in two dual meets this past weekend in both Grapevine and Frisco, Texas. The teams faced difficult competitors both days. The swimmers placed well overall, with the girls winning both meets and the boys finishing first and second. Their next meet will take place in San Angelo on October 26th and 27th.

The diving team also had excellent meets, with Payton Props placing first , Alyssa Britt second, Landrie Bray third, Kyler Villarreal second, Dante Mallory third, and John Lucero fourth at the Friday dual meet against Grapevine. Saturday’s meet had tough competition as the meet featured many top divers in the state of Texas. Payton Props finished fifth, Kyler Villarreal 10th, Dante Mallory 14th, Alyssa Britt 14th, Landrie Bray 19th and Alexana Heinrich 24th. The divers will also travel to San Angelo with the swim team.
